November has been a month of breathless momentum for Weeemake. Just days after closing a successful showcase in Singapore, our technology crossed the Pacific to land in the vibrant heart of South America.
During the week of November 10th, Weeemake AI Robotics took center stage in Colombia for the celebrated Week of Science and Technology (Semana de la Ciencia, la Tecnología e Innovación).
While Asia represents a mature market for EdTech, Latin America is currently experiencing a "STEM Renaissance." Colombia, in particular, is aggressively pushing to modernize its classrooms. Here is how Weeemake contributed to that mission earlier this month.
If Singapore was about "business and strategy," Colombia was about "passion and discovery."
The Week of Science and Technology is a pivotal event , bringing together public sector officials, university researchers, and—most importantly—thousands of curious students.
The Weeemake booth became a hub of kinetic energy. In a market often saturated with theory-heavy teaching, the tactile nature of our anodized aluminum robots stood out immediately. Colombian educators and students didn't just want to look; they wanted to touch, build, and code.
One of the key barriers to AI adoption in LATAM has been accessibility. Weeemake utilized this week to demonstrate how our WeeeCode platform breaks down language and technical barriers. By showcasing our graphical programming interface alongside our AI kits such as AI Starter Kit, AI Advanced Kit, AI Machine Learing Starter Kit, WeeeCore Bot, etc, we proved to local school administrators that high-level concepts like "computer vision" and "machine learning" are not reserved for universities—they can be taught in middle schools today.
The Colombian educational context demands hardware that lasts. During the demonstrations, the robust build quality of our robots was a major selling point. We saw students as young as ten handling the robots enthusiastically. The feedback from local distributors was clear: “Finally, a robot that feels like a tool, not a toy.”
The most photogenic moments of the week came from the open-floor challenges. Students gathered around to watch Weeemake robots navigate obstacle courses and perform line-tracking tasks. The look of wonder on a student’s face when they realize they can control the machine is a universal language—and we saw plenty of it in Colombia.
From a marketing perspective, our participation in the Week of Science and Technology signals a major shift. Latin America is ready for advanced STEAM solutions.
Growing Demand: There is a hunger in Colombia for curriculum that moves beyond basic coding into physical computing and AI.
The Right Fit: Weeemake’s mid-range price point combined with high-end industrial features makes it the perfect solution for developing economies looking to maximize their educational budget.
From the high-tech convention centers of Singapore to the bustling science fairs of Colombia, this month has proven one thing: the desire to understand and master AI is universal.
We represent a global movement. Whether in English or Spanish, Weeemake is speaking the language of the future.
